1966
Ettore Casotti patented ELECTROGET, the first horizontal oscillating jet sprayer and founded the Casotti company.
In recognition of its technological innovation ELECTROGET was awarded the bronze medal at the 71st Verona Trade Fair in 1969.
The 1970s
DUPIGET patent: following the ELECTROGET model, the sprayer with two horizontal oscillating jets was introduced.
TRONCOGET patent: precision equipment for the treatment of poplar tree trunks.
In recognition of its technological innovation TRONCOGET was awarded the gold medal at the 77th Verona Trade Fair in 1975.
In fact, it was one of the first examples of precision farming.
The 1980s
PRIM 20 patent: adjustable-gun mist blower.
Thanks to a special system, the highest part of the poplars could also be sprayed, even when using tractors with limited power.
PICCHIO patent: equipment for the treatment of the collar of plant trunks.
PICCHIO was awarded the Technical Novelty acknowledgement at the EIMA Show in Bologna in 1986.
EUROGET and SUPERGET patent: sprayers with two and three horizontal oscillating jets.
The 1990s
Daughter Elisa Casotti becomes the owner of the company.
Production begins on the ELECTROGET OLIVO and DUPIGET OLIVO models, with vertical oscillating jets for the treatment of olive and fruit tree foliage.
Production also begins on AQUILOTTO, a photocell device, to interrupt treatment between one plant and the next, to supplement the mist blowers and sprayers.
The 2000s
Pablo and Ivan Chittolini, Elisa Casotti’s sons, join their parents at the helm of the company.
They contribute primarily to research and technological development.
From 2010 to the present day
DOCTOR FLY patent: precision agricultural sprayer for the distribution of microdoses of new organic agro drugs designed for the fight against olive and fruit flies.
An entire line of agricultural sprayers is put into production, with different specific models for every requirement, ranging from backpack pumps to equipment to be applied to tractors and fitted with automated mechanisms.
DOCTOR FLY was awarded the Innovative Machine acknowledgement at the EIMA Show in Bologna in 2010.
SPARAMOSCA was awarded the Technical Novelty acknowledgement at the Agrillevante Show in Bari in 2013.
Production begins on DUPIGET PRECISION: with the partnership of the University of Turin (DISAFA), the new movement of the sprayer jets is devised. The new horizontal movement also allows work to be done on one side only and to optimise distribution uniformity with variable width.
