ISOBUS CONNECTION
Thanks to the interaction with satellite guidance systems and the ISOBUS connection, there is seamless communication between the machine, tractor, and farm. The prescription maps loaded onto the tractor's satellite guidance system are communicated to the Doctor Fly control unit. These maps enable automation and simplify the operator's work. During the operation, Doctor Fly follows the instructions from the loaded maps, communicates the processing data to the tractor, and even creates a new map. If the tractor is connected to the farm's management system, it can transmit the data of the completed operation.
VARIABLE RATE, PRESCRIPTION MAPS, AND SECTION CONTROL
With prescription maps, it is possible to set the desired product quantity to be distributed per hectare and define the field boundaries. Through section control, the sprayers can be automatically activated when entering a section and avoid accidental spraying outside the designated areas. If the machine accidentally enters a row that has already been treated, the sprayers will not activate.
COMPASS
To avoid manually changing the working side with every change in direction, the Doctor Fly 120F - ISOBUS is equipped with a GPS compass that automatically recognizes the side to be sprayed, eliminating the possibility of operator oversight.
OPERATION MAP
During the operation, a map is created showing the performed tasks, which can be communicated to the tractor and sent to the farm management system. The map not only represents the path but also indicates the working side.
INTELLIGENT CONTROL UNIT DESIGNED FOR OLIVES
Each olive tree has its own story, shape, and growth pattern. Doctor Fly 120F - ISOBUS is equipped with a control unit capable of assessing the working context and adjusting its behavior accordingly.
In super-intensive planting densities, where the trees are closely spaced, forming a hedge, the sprays are distributed at regular intervals based on speed and planting density, ensuring the correct amount of product per hectare is always applied. Special filters in the control unit help direct the spray accurately, preventing off-target sprays in case, for example, a tree is missing.
In traditional planting densities, where the trees are not in contact with each other, the photocell detects each tree, and the control unit precisely programs the spray in milliliter measurements based on the spacing between trees. Filters can be set in the control unit to prevent false readings and double sprays on individual trees.
MILLILITER PRECISION
When it comes to distributing only 5 L/ha, precision is crucial.
DOCTOR FLY 120F - ISOBUS ensures maximum precision: If you decide to distribute 25 ml per tree, it will actually distribute 25 ml per tree.
Only in this way can the treatment be accurately applied throughout the entire plot.

Plants to be treated per hectare: 200 (alternate rows)
Liters per hectare: 5 L
ml per spray: 25 ml
Total liters: 500 L
Example of Economic Loss in Case of Error:

Total liters in 100 hectares: 500 L + 100 L of extra product (equivalent to 20 hectares)

USING OUR CONTROL UNIT IS EXTREMELY SIMPLE AND INTUITIVE:
Turn on Doctor Fly by connecting the ISOBUS plug to the tractor.
Load the prescription map (or enter the data manually).
Enter the planting density measurements (e.g., 6x6).
Enter the liters per hectare (e.g., 5 L/ha).
Select the working mode:
Photocell (for traditional planting densities)
Automatic (for super-intensive planting densities)
Photocell: You can set filters to prevent false readings (optional).
Automatic: You can activate the filter that prevents empty sprays (optional).
- Select the initial spraying side at the beginning of the field (e.g., the sunny side to the south). Afterwards, the control unit will always select the correct side thanks to the compass.
DOCTOR FLY, A STORY OF CONTINUOUS EVOLUTION
2008 A farmer from the Marche region contacts us, and based on his suggestion, we begin studying a machine that allows for the professional distribution of Spintor Fly.
2010 We present the first model of Doctor Fly at EIMA, receiving recognition for "technical innovation."
2015 We obtain a patent for certain functionalities primarily related to use in super-intensive plantings. The model with a 25-liter steel tank is replaced with a new model equipped with a 120-liter tank to meet the growing needs of third-party contractors and large olive growers. We also introduce a model with photocells for automatic operation in traditional planting densities.
2021 We begin designing an even more advanced model capable of connecting to the tractor via ISOBUS, reading prescription maps, and further improving work precision through the use of an intelligent control unit.
2022 The design is completed, tests are finished, and a significant leap forward in the evolution of Doctor Fly has been achieved.
